Celebrity Lifestyle

Many people dream of living the celebrity lifestyle, just as their favorite singing star or actor does. They see the lights flashing as fifty cameras attempt to capture a rare photo before the star is whisked away in their limo. They imagine themselves in the gorgeous outfit that the person is wearing with all of its glitter and style. Many fans will try to find an outfit just like their favorite star wore before stores sell out of it. They see the perfect person, just as they would like to be. The glamorous life seems very attractive, but what is the star’s life like the rest of the time?

It takes a lot of time and energy to keep flawless hair, makeup, and nails. Their perfect slim figure also requires many hours of workouts in the gym, which is usually located in their house since they cannot go out in public most of the time. People go to the star, rather than the popular person going to the hair salon or other places. Makeup artists, nail artists, health club trainers, and others are called to the celebrity’s home when they are needed. The star may need to sit for hours as makeup is applied and various hair styles are tried time and time again. Most celebrities have a staff who helps them in other ways as well, such as getting the clothing, food, and other necessities that they need. The staff can go out in public without crowds gathering around them, so they do every day shopping and errands for the celebrity.

The celebrity needs to maintain that perfect figure or build, so a nutritionist is often on the staff who can design meals that are nutritious and healthy, but low in calories. There are also cooks, cleaning staff, and those who do the daily chores around the house. They take out the garbage, change the sheets on the bed, and clean the bathroom. The celebrity’s job is to keep fingernails, hair, and the entire body as fresh and beautiful as possible. It takes a certain personality to cope with the stress of continually having others pamper you and do things for you. The stress apparently affects many celebrities because they often become addicted to drugs or alcohol.

There is another important job that stars need to do, and that is to memorize and practice lines for a movie that they are currently filming, or a song that they are recording. They often have coaches come to their homes for these sessions, but they also spend a substantial amount of time at studios filming or recording their next hit. This work can be very frustrating because it may take hundreds of times of going over part of a film or song to get it just right. In addition, those who work in the film or music industries are often very demanding and rude because they are also celebrities of their own kind, and they expect everyone to give them what they want, when they want it.

It takes a lot of determination and perseverance to be a celebrity. It can take many years of wearing uncomfortable clothes, working for eighteen hours each day, performing late at night with little sleep, and being followed everywhere by the paparazzi. Stars need to go on with their performances whether they are sick or well. They must learn to ignore the false articles that are printed about them, and they must never, ever be out in public without their makeup or in tattered clothes. If they are, the paparazzi will surely snap a photo of them that will land on the front page of ten different magazines. It takes a very special person to be a celebrity.
